What is a medicare advantage plan? Medicare Advantage Plans are private companies offering health plans that cover all Medicare Part A and Part B benefits. Many also cover Part D prescription drug benefits (MA-PD plans). All Medicare Advantage plans offer a maximum out-of-pocket limit. Many Medicare Advantage plans also offer extra benefits that Medicare does not cover.

- Includes Part D prescription drug coverage.

Medicare Annual Open Enrollment Period
Medicare Open Enrollment Period begins October 15 until December 7. This is the period when individuals can add or drop a medicare plan. Individuals can even enroll into a Medicare Advantage Plan.
